Trading Services Analyst

Serving as a key liaison between trading desks, clients, and counterparties, the role requires strong communication skills and a focus on delivering excellent service.

The role also involves monitoring and enhancing liaisons with stakeholders, adhering to regulatory compliance standards, and mitigating operational risks. Analysts are expected to utilize advanced trading platforms and data management tools while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Your role in the Team

• Communicate Effectively and Efficiently: Be the frontliners for IG in communicating with clients about trades placed on the IG platform and across various channels of communication (emails, webchat, WhatsApp, phone call)
• Client & Counterparty Communication: Serve as a primary contact for clients, brokers, and trading desks, addressing trade-related inquiries and issues.
• Trade Support: Ensure clients are informed correctly and coherently about their derivative trades across asset classes (e.g., equities, forex, indices, or commodities).
• Liaising with stakeholders: Constant communication with stakeholders across the globe to ensure correct information is extracted to be communicated to the client
• Risk & Compliance: Adhere to regulatory and internal risk policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records and documentation for trades, confirmations, and settlements.
• Technical Skills:
• System Usage: Utilize trading platforms and systems (e.g. ,IG s internal tools, MT4, Pro real time) to manage trade workflows.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in trade processes and suggest improvements or automation opportunities.
• Reporting: Prepare trade and performance reports for stakeholders and management.
• Key Attributes:
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and identify trends in trade activities.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in trade bookings and reconciliation processes.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with traders, operations teams, and IT to support the trading business.

What you ll do

• Interact with clients/traders everyday and answer questions around their trade related queries
• Liaise with stakeholders who are essentials in the lifecycle of a client journey in IG
• Answer phone calls, write emails, webchat and communicate on whatsapp as the case may be
• Deep dive on escalations and complaints per industry rules as the case may be
