Hindsighting Manager

Job Purpose:

The role holder has the responsibility of doing credit hind sighting activity based on sampling with a good understanding of Retail Products /Policies & its process. It entails the responsibility of identifying gaps in underwriting, publishing the hindsight reports / dashboards periodically to senior management and obtain ratifications as applicable - thereby contributing to the larger objectives of the bank.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed review of accounts and ensure cases are approved basis Credit Policy & Process
• Evaluate and assessing compliance to regulators such as RBI and adherence to the internal policies laid down by the bank.
• Identify the gaps in the process & highlights to the senior management.
• Publish Hindsight reports / dashboards / scores periodically.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operation& Policy team for any change in the process/policy.
• Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team.
• Recommend improvements to processes and policies across the Retail Banking business to drive operational efficiencies and high-quality customer service.
• Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Education Qualification:

Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in underwriting.
