Technical Project Manager-Java

Role & responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to complex problems.
• Team Management:
• Lead and mentor project teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Client Communication:
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Manage client expectations and build strong relationships.
• Present project status reports and address client concerns.
• Technology Expertise:
• Strong understanding of Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring, Hibernate, and other relevant frameworks.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Braintree).
• Knowledge of fintech technologies, including APIs, microservices, and cloud computing.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure the quality and reliability of project deliverables.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities.
• Implement continuous improvement processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in managing projects involving Java/J2EE and payment gateway integrations.
• Strong technical expertise in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
