Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Development:
- Design, develop, and implement training programs tailored to the needs of engineering teams.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
2. Content Creation:
- Develop engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
- Ensure all training content is up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
3. Training Delivery:
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for various engineering departments.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
4. Performance Evaluation:
- Develop and implement evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness.
- Analyze feedback and performance metrics to continually improve training programs.
5. Employee Development:
- Create and manage individual development plans for engineers.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to support career growth and skill enhancement.
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with HRBPs and departmental leaders to align training programs with organizational goals.
- Partner with external training providers and vendors as necessary.
7. Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all training programs comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and certifications.
8. Technological Integration:
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technological tools to enhance training delivery on the existing HRMS.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in LD.
9.Project Management:
- Manage LD projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.
- Monitor project budgets and resources.
10.Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations.
- Document all training processes and procedures for future reference.
11.Talent Management:
- Strong knowledge of developing the Behavioral and Functional Competency Framework for different functions.
- Ability to drive Assessments and work on Individual Development Plan
- Exposure to defining the Career Path
- Exposure to Digital and Mobile learning space will is mandatory.
- Ability to identify High Potential employees and work on Succession Planning
- Development Delivery of Behavioral Training content
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Human Resources.(BE/B.Tech. - Engineering, or a related field will be preferred)
- 4-7 years of experience in Learning Development, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with e-learning development tools is a plus.
- Certification in LD, such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance), is preferred.
