Job Description
- ideaForge is looking for Sr Engineer(Avionics) to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- As a Senior Engineer specializing in Production or Manufacturing Process Engineering, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes
- This position involves leading process improvement initiatives, ensuring production efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence
- Responsibilities: Process Optimization:Analyze and evaluate existing production processes, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing manufacturing processes
- Production Planning:Collaborate with production planning teams to develop and implement schedules that maximize efficiency and meet production targets
- Ensure seamless coordination between engineering, production, and other relevant departments
- Continuous Improvement:Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity
- Implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence
- Technology Integration:Stay abreast of new technologies and manufacturing trends, and assess their potential application in improving production processes
- Integrate new technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness
- Quality Assurance:Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards in manufacturing
- Implement measures to reduce defects and improve product quality
- Cost Management:Evaluate and manage manufacturing costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality
- Work with finance teams to establish and monitor budgets
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, supply chain, and maintenance, to ensure cohesive and efficient operations
- Communicate effectively to address production challenges and implement solutions
- Training and Development:Provide training to production staff on new processes, technologies, and quality standards
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development
- Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing operations
- Implement measures to enhance workplace safety
- Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures
- Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date
