You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to ensure the development of robotic, guidance, propulsion, and other satellite subsystems. You will develop complex circuitry for all of those subsystems and see them come alive both on and off the planet!
Responsibilities:
Interact with the rest of the subsystem teams to gather electronics-related requirements and analyze them thoroughly
Design, develop, and assemble quick and dirty circuit boards to meet the requirements
Perform space-grade board design and assembly, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Expected Skills:
Bachelors/Diploma in related engineering fields
Experience in designing and assembling electric circuits and troubleshooting them
Experience with basic control algorithms like PID
Familiar with microcontroller and basics of embedded systems
Proficiency in operating avionics test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and current probes
Good understanding of the workings of motors
Can do attitude to solve problems
Desired Skills:
Advanced Degree in Engineering or Science (Masters/PhD).
Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, balancing multifaceted requirements, assessing risks, and making informed design and development decisions
Familiarity with electrical schematics and electronics manufacturing for improved test coverage
Hands-on experience with the sizing, installation, and troubleshooting of various electronic components
Experience with NX or similar CAD software
Experience with PCB design and Altium or similar software
