Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. This position focuses on working closely with the business units to gain an in-depth understanding of the customer s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and context. This role will be key to understanding and documenting the capabilities needed to address business requirements and challenges.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end to end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. They will identify opportunities to improve efficiency and lead small- to mid-size projects or assist on larger, more complex projects related to operational business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.

Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs and have an exceptional understanding of customer experience.

Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results.

Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation, managing project scope, adjusting schedules when necessary, determining daily priorities, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones, following proper escalation paths, and managing customer and supplier relationships.

Collaborate with and articulate ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers, and others to provide leadership to team members and peers.

Develop and implement best practices for business analysis

Identify and drive the resolution of issues and, at the same time, hold self and team accountable for results.

Qualifications & Skills:

bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on enterprise digital transformation projects.

Experience working with clients having complex software ecosystems that have helped them build their business operations.

Strong analytical abilities, technical expertise, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to understand the needs of business owners and help developers transform those needs into viable technology solutions.

Must be we'll-versed in enterprise applications, data management, and systems integration.

Able to identify and analyze problems, develop and evaluate potential solutions, and implement the most effective solution.

Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct workshops and in-person sessions with stakeholders.

Have a good understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in industries in which they have worked.

Have hands-on knowledge of data analysis tools, diagramming tools, and PM tools.
