About the role

The candidate would engage with fund managers / dealers of institutional investors, including Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Banks, Pension funds, Corporate treasuries etc. for sell-down of corporate bonds in Primary and Secondary market. Developing and implementing hedging strategies to mitigate risk is also part of the profile.  The individual should also possess in-depth knowledge of Indian and Global markets and should be adept at fundamental and technical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaboration: The candidate would engage with fund managers / dealers of institutional investors, including Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Banks, Pension funds, Corporate treasuries etc. for sell-down of corporate bonds in Primary and Secondary market.
• Customised Solutions: To handle the bidding process for private placement of debt issuance, Preparation of deal documents like Information Memorandum, Term Sheets, investment rationale etc.
• Ability to comprehend various regulatory guidelines: Sound understanding of regulatory guidelines of SEBI & RBI related to DCM and investments in Fixed Income securities.
• 360-degree banking: Understanding of the investment pattern of Insurance Companies, Provident Funds and analysis of Primary and Secondary traded data, supply pipelines, Corporate bond spreads and tracking flows/AUMs of investors on regular basis.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Qualification: MBA or Graduates with 1 to 5 years of experience in sales of treasury products to large corporates with central treasury is preferred. Candidates having prior experience in DCM, WDM desk or Institutional sales with exposure to debt market borrowings & knowledge of SEBI Debt market regulations, would be an added advantage.
• Negotiation: Ability to influence and negotiate with clients at all levels.
• Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills and basic understanding of financials of a company and bond mathematics.
• Soft skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About the Business Group

Markets Group (MG) provides treasury solutions to the customers in the corporate ecosystem consisting of large, mid and small enterprises. Treasury solutions consist of forex services, derivatives, structured products, interest rate hedging solutions amongst others. The team works closely with the Corporate Relationship teams and provide solutions suited to the needs of the customers. These solutions are embedded through the life cycle of corporate relationships across working capital, lending, payment solutions, supply chain finance, structured trade etc. The team works closely with customers to help them manage their financial risks with the right suite of products and solutions.
