IAST Software Solution - Modem Engineer - IMS Software (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

- IMS Engineer to debug, triage IMS issues (WFC, VoLTE, ViLTE, VoNR) from certification (GCF/PTCRB, IOT, Lab Conformance), field performance issues, Carriers certificate issues.

- Resolving / debugging issues in cellular multi radio access technology (RAT) (2G/3G/LTE/5G) modem and interworking within triple mode configuration interfacing between RATs and dual SIM dual standby (DSDS).

- Triaging of IMS/Voiceover LTE (VoLTE)/VoNR/VT modem application log analysis for end-to-end solution across SIP/IMS/RCS/RTP protocols.

- Debugging issues observed with GCF/PTCRB and carrier acceptance certification.

- Conformance, functional, key performance index (KPI) and performance issue for lab and field testing, and dogfooding stability testing across geography and meet the expectations set forth in the Issue Triage section.

- Debugging and troubleshooting setup/configuration issues for different test equipment to narrow down as a user equipment (UE) or test equipment (TE) issue.

- Troubleshooting IMS functional, registration issue, cellular service (CS) failure, emergency call, conference call, hand over, cell reselection, cellular service fallback (CSFB), supplementary services, Rich Communication Services (RCS), LTE Wi-Fi offloading end-to-end VoLTE, Voice over LTE video telephony (VoNR-VT) calls.

Metrics and reports :

- Daily/weekly report for log analysis and troubleshooting issues.

- BS degree in Engineering, a related domain of knowledge or equivalent practical experiences.

- 3+ yr experiences on IMS software design or integrations.

- Good knowledge in- IMS/ VoLTE/ VoWiFi/ VoNR/- EPSFB, SIP, IR92, IR94, NG114, TS24.

- Hands-on experiences on IMS protocol.

- Hands-on experiences on the cross-layers issues between IMS and 3GPP NAS protocol (ex: IMS PDN connection).

- Hands-on experiences on USSD and SS over Ut.
