Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Planning for Electrical & Mechanical Installation and Commissioning before execution of any project.
• Electrical Material Management which was going to use in the Car Parking System Project.
• Takes responsibility for cross-checking proper mechanical installation and informed to mechanical responsible person for any required correction. Considering electrical and mechanical safety of components and human at utmost priority.
• Execution of Field wiring with proper routing, finishing, lugging, labelling and neatness as per electrical drawing with the help of man power allocated to him.
• Basic Commissioning of the system, such as Powering up the Control panel, downloading programs in the controllers, checking IO, mounting and setting sensors, etc.
• Ensuring proper mounting of all electrical components with proper safety. After installation also taking responsibility of all electrical components that it gets not damage during painting or other activities.
• Preparation of Checklist for cross-checking for mechanical and electrical installation & commissioning and acting accordingly during project execution.
• Daily reporting to superior for projects execution.
• Ensuring on site proper mechanical and electrical material management.
• Co-ordination with Design team, Purchase team, Production team, Mechanical Installation Team and Contractors for proper projects execution.
• Assist procurement or wherever/whenever necessary initiate procurement action for bought-out parts. Follow-up with vendors for timely supply.
• Getting System ready for electrical commissioning and Auto Trials.
• Manual and Auto Trials with and without Load and handover system to customer.
• Instrumentation brackets and accessories mounting and alignment.
• Assisting Electrical contractors for hassle-free execution of projects.
• Ensuring work has been conducted as per SOPs.
• Taking necessary actions for closing down of all points of project.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have knowledge of Control Panel and Field wiring. Should be able to understand Electrical drawing done in Eplan.
• Should be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in the system.
• Should have experience in electrical installation in industrial or building automation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrical installation & commissioning engineer in industrial or building automation.
• Should have basic knowledge of configuring and commissioning of PLC, Drives, Switchgears, Sensors, etc products used in automation industry.
• Knowledge of Siemens automation system would be preferred.
