Job Description
- Preparation, maintenance and updating of Fixed Assets Register & Depreciation Schedule.
- Preparation of Data for TDS, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B returns on quarterly basis.
- Assist in statutory and annual/project financial audit by an accredited agency and ensure adherence to recommendations made by the auditors.
- Ensure complete and timely compliance of TDS, FCRA, PF, ESI, GST and Income tax and other applicable statutory regulations.
Role Description
The Senior Executive - Accounts will assist the Head of Finance in overseeing the daily operations of the F&A department, which includes Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Statutory Compliances, and various other finance and accounting activities. He needs to collaborate along with Vendors, Vertical Heads, Bankers, etc., and also assist in building internal control & policies. Additionally, the Senior Executive may need to travel to different offices and project sites to support accounting and administrative functions as required.
The ideal profile of the Senior Executive - Accounts will be a candidate with
- Prior experience in IT / ITES / Service Industries preferably Section 8 Companies / NGO / Educational Institutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in Accounting, Filing, & Maintenance of records.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally / QuickBooks)
- Well versed in Advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements.
- Proactive and self-driven individual.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously .
Qualification : Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. The preference will be given to CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter)
Years of experience : 3-5 years of relevant experience
Reporting - The position will be reporting to the Head - Finance
