Role & responsibilities

- Technical and Networking knowledge to propose solutions to user requirements.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and/or respond to outages.

- Administration of Data bases, Networking, Hardware (Desktops, laptops), Security systems, Software applications, Operating systems, Enterprise systems, Web servers, Storage devices, VPNs, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Modems, and related infrastructures etc. to ensure continuous uninterrupted and reliable operations.

- Test and perform upgrades and patches to installed operating systems and software

- Monitor backups and plans for installed systems.

- Implement suitable recovery plans for every critical function.

- Ability to install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and support systems, networks and softwares.

- To develop plans, schedules and requirements for deployment of systems.

- Design and develop custom programs to aid in systems management.

- Monitor and ensure to prevent information security threats, alerts, and security vulnerabilities.

- Implement response plans for various types of threats and attacks.

- Create and maintain system documentation of processes, procedures, plans, and configurations.

- To maintain confidentiality and prevent leakage of data by defining suitable process across the organization.

- To coordinate/ manage with IT support and development engineers in regional offices and with vendors.

Preferred candidate profile

- Engineering degree in IT/ Computer Science or related field.

- 5 years of experience in managing IT environment in any large organizations, preferably on windows platform.

- Experience in working with firewalls, exchange mail servers etc.

- Preferably CISCO Certified network associate (CCPN) or with equivalent certificate.

- Good communication skills both written and oral, participating in communicating complex, technical parties
