ABOUT THE ROLE :
As a Migration Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition of customers' monitoring and observability infrastructure. Your expertise in various other observability tools, coupled with a strong understanding of PromQL, will be essential in successfully migrating alerts and dashboards, optimizing system performance, and enhancing the customer's monitoring capabilities. You will collaborate with the customer's cross-functional teams, understand their requirements, design migration strategies, execute the migration process, and provide training and support throughout the engagement.
Roles And Responsibilities :
- Should have good command on the mentioned requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of exp in Grafana, prometheus, promQL is mandatory.
- Should know Building dashboards, migration, alerts management etc.
- Exp in observability, monitoring tools is a must (new relic, splunk, data dog, sumologic, app dynamics etc are such tools)
- Background could be SRE (site reliability engineer/Platform engineering/Devops)
- Normal shift environment but once or twice a week they could be taking US customer calls, which will be little late in the night, in that case it will be work from home.
- Candidate should sound serious about the job that he/she is applying for, during the time of conversation with the HR spoc.
