Responsibilities :
- Design and build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Work with containerized workloads using ECS, Docker, and Kubernetes (as needed).
- Architected and configured AWS environments, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and IAM roles.
- Optimize AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS, Lambda, API Gateway) for cost and performance.
- Implement AWS security best practices using IAM, ACM, security groups, and NACLs.
- Ensure compliance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and industry standards.
- Set up encryption mechanisms (KMS, TLS/SSL) and secure networking strategies.
- Design and manage traffic distribution systems, including ALB, NLB, and AWS Global Accelerator.
- Develop multi-region and hybrid cloud strategies, ensuring failover and disaster recovery.
- Optimize network components (Route 53 Direct Connect, VPN) for seamless connectivity.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and IaC tools like Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Automate deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure management using AWS CloudWatch and AWS Config.
- Integrate logging and monitoring tools like Jfrog and Dynatrace.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams to ensure smooth deployments.
- Mentored junior engineers and guided AWS best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with AWS innovations, emerging technologies, and security trends.
Requirements :
- 8-10 years of experience with AWS cloud architecture, application development, and cloud security.
- Expertise with Docker, ECS (or EKS), load balancers, VPC, subnets, and IAM.
- Strong networking knowledge (VPNs, routing, AWS networking services).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python for backend development, with some knowledge of frontend technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience optimizing cloud performance and costs.
