Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled 5G L2 Developer with expertise in Layer 2 protocols to join our team.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with 5G/LTE feature design and a strong command of C/C++ programming.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

5G/LTE Layer 2 Protocol Development :

- Design, develop, and implement 5G/LTE Layer 2 protocols, specifically focusing on MAC (Medium Access Control), RLC (Radio Link Control), and PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) layers.

- Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions for Layer 2 that meet current industry standards.

Feature Design and Development :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features for 5G/LTE protocols.

- Ensure features are optimized for performance and stability, aligning with both client needs and industry benchmarks.

Architecture and Optimization :

- Take part in high-level architectural decision-making processes, contributing to the design and optimization of network performance.

- Implement enhancements to increase the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of Layer 2 systems.

Integration and Testing :

- Lead and perform end-to-end integration and validation of Layer 2 protocol features in 5G/LTE environments.

- Develop automated test cases to validate Layer 2 functionalities and ensure consistent performance across different use cases.

Debugging and Troubleshooting :

- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within Layer 2 protocols.

- Conduct root-cause analysis of performance bottlenecks or bugs and implement corrective measures.

Documentation and Standards Compliance :

- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for protocol implementations, feature changes, and system architectures.

- Ensure that all developments are compliant with 5G/LTE standards and best practices, enabling future scalability and interoperability.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation :

- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging standards, and new technologies in 5G and LTE networks.

- Propose and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and keep solutions ahead of industry standards.

Qualifications :

- 4-9 years of experience in 5G/LTE protocol development, specifically in MAC/RLC/PDCP layers.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming with proven experience in network protocol implementation.

- Knowledge of 5G and LTE standards and industry practices.

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues in protocol layers.
