Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator Lead to join our team. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with a strong focus on managing mission-critical database environments and handling complex database administration tasks.
Requirements:
Extensive experience with Oracle ExaData / ExaCC, Oracle Core DBA, and DBA Managed Services environment.
In-depth knowledge of change management processes, including SLAs, ticketing, and approvals.
Sound troubleshooting experience with RAC, RAT testing, ASM, Exadata, performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker, and database security.
Proficiency in database monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager, including target management, installation, HA configuration, administration, incident and alert management, and integration with ticketing tools.
Knowledge of Grafana, database backup and recovery using RMAN, and day-to-day database issue troubleshooting.
Experience with database migrations and upgrades, installation and patching issues, and Oracle engineered systems.
Skills in automation using Shell scripts, Perl, Python, Ansible, OS administration (Linux, Solaris), virtualization, and storage (ZFS, ZDLRA).
