Service Engineer- Lightening Prevention System

Job Responsibilities:

1. Install and commission/calibrate our JV Euthalias lightning prevention systems (Antimpatto technology) ensuring proper setup and functionality at client sites.
2. Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs.
3. Study the site and prepare initial quote, initial drawings, and work with the sales team.
4. Train customers on the proper use, maintenance, and safety protocols for Euthalias lightning prevention systems.
5. Provide technical support to customers, addressing and resolving issues related to the installation, operation, and maintenance, and repairs.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including installation records, maintenance logs, and service reports.
7. Witnesses third-party calibrations and ensures systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
8. Provide on-site support across various locations, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
9. Collect and relay customer feedback and technical observations to the product development team to support product improvements
10. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and environmental regulations, including those related to lightning protection and electrical systems.

Skills Required:

1. Knowhow to make required electrical drawings.
2. Ability to perform accurate calibration and testing of industrial lightning protection equipment. Knowledge of environmental factors (e.g., humidity, air quality, and vibration) that could impact the performance of safety systems.
3. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with experience in handling and repairing electronic systems and devices.
4. Willingness to travel for on-site support, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of products.
5. Capability to deliver training and technical demonstrations to clients, explaining complex concepts in an understandable manner.
6. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and compliance protocols.
7. Understanding of the importance of data accuracy in safety systems. Ability to ensure the precision of system data for operational use and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Electrical or related field (preferred).
• MBA in Marketing (added advantage).
