Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement robotic software components using ROS2.
- Create and maintain ROS2 nodes, topics, services, and actions.
- Develop and test robotic algorithms for navigation, manipulation, perception, and control.
- Integrate ROS2-based software with other robotic systems and hardware components.
- Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems and software.
- Perform system integration testing and validation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and ROS2 technologies.
- Conduct research and development on new robotic algorithms and techniques.
- Explore and evaluate new technologies and tools for robotics applications.
- Collaborate effectively with other engineers, researchers, and stakeholders.
- Communicate technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of team processes and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3-4 years of professional experience in ROS2 development.
- Strong understanding of ROS2 concepts, including nodes, topics, services, actions, and data distribution.
- Experience with C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience with sensor integration (cameras, LiDAR, IMU).
- Experience with robot kinematics, dynamics, and control.
- Experience with navigation algorithms (path planning, motion planning).
- Familiarity with robotics middleware (RMW implementations) and real-time systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with robot operating systems other than ROS2.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques for robotics.
- Experience with ROS2 on embedded systems.
- Contributions to open-source robotics projects.
