Job Specifications:
Key Responsibility & accountability
HR Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and in alignment with the hospital's mission, vision, and values.
Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and conduct effective recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation. Ensure timely and efficient onboarding of new employees.
Employee Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and other perks. Communicate benefits information to employees, process enrollment, and resolve related issues.
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal-setting, performance appraisals, and feedback processes. Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on performance-related matters and support the implementation of performance improvement plans when necessary.
Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures. Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns in a timely and fair manner.
Training and Development: Identify training and development needs within the hospital and coordinate relevant programs. Collaborate with department heads to design training initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as industry-specific requirements related to healthcare and patient privacy (e.g., HIPAA). Keep abreast of changes in legislation and adjust HR practices accordingly.
HR Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, performance evaluations, and training documentation. Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.
Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Planned and coordinate employee recognition programs, events, and initiatives.
HR Budget Management: Collaborate with the hospital administration to develop and manage the HR budget, including staffing, training, and other HR-related expenses.Role & responsibilities
