Job Description

Role Summary:


- The HR Business Partner is a new position in the company and will lead the development and implementation of the companys strategy for ensuring the company attracts, motivates and retains the best talent available to drive exceptional business performance and success.


- In this role the HR Business Partner shall reports to, and will work under the direction of, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who built the business and remains the driving energy behind the companys mission to be the leading private aviation business in India. (Reporting can change basis the seniority of the employee).


- The strategic objective of the HR Business Partner will be to develop, drive implementation, deliver and administer end to end human capital processes and services aligned to business objectives and to enhance capabilities of the functional teams across the organization through superior talent acquisition, management and motivation to drive exceptional business performance and results within our industry sector.


- Based in our Hyderabad office, this role is part of the senior executive team of the company and will be expected to work closely with other members of the leadership team, such as the Chief Strategy Officer and the Chief Growth Officer on the business development strategy and related skills and talent requirements, organisational effectiveness and cohesion, monitoring and enhancing people performance.


- In addition, close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer to coordinate resource management and planning, budgeting and cost control in line with the Annual Operating Plan, and forward financial projections where that relates to human capital, and oversight of the work of the Human Resources department, led by the GM Human Resources, to ensure the ongoing implementation of talent acquisition, management and retention plans are integrated and synergistic with the day-to-day human resource management of the company.


- Further coordination with the General Counsel is required to ensure that the companys recruitment and people management policies are in compliance with all requirements under Indian law related to employment, the management of employee affairs, and the motivation of the companys workforce for improved business performance.


- Directly reporting to this role isthe General Manager Human Resources, and the HR team based in the Delhi office.


Responsibilities:


Responsibilities for this role cover four key areas:


Leadership & Advisory:


- As a member of the Senior Leadership team, contribute towards the formulation and implementation of overall business strategies and plans which enable the achievement of JetSetGos mission and objectives.


- Act as Lead Advisor to the CEO, the senior executive team and the Board on the long- term strategy for the company with regard to the development of its people and talent as a key strategic factors for success.


- Formulate a strategy and a plan for creating a high-performance, high-motivation culture that is equally focussed on the happiness of the people who work for JetSetGo and aligning the joy of working with the businesssuccess of the company in a synergistic and mutually dependent way.


Talent Acquisition:


- Regularly interface with Heads of Departments and participate in Business/Functional meetings to gain an understanding of the business strategy and annual operating plans (AOP) for each part of the business, in order to understand ongoing talent needs.


- Anticipate and provide timely solutions for ensuring each part of the business has the mix of talent and skills it needs through an effective talent search and recruitment process.


- Play a hands-on role in managing the end-to-end process of attracting and on-boarding the right talent, thereby fulfilling staffing requirements in a timely manner.


- Have a hands-on understanding of recruitment procedures and tools, implementing them with insight and consistency.


- Facilitate in identifying, nurturing and deploying talent effectively to the right parts of the business to drive enhanced performance.


- Manage all processes, resources and channels, including external recruitment and search consultants and platforms, to achieve recruitment targets in a timely and cost-effective manner.


Talent Nurturing:


- Review, revise and manage an improved framework and process for appraising employee performance and their development needs, to create a strategy of continuous improvement and skills development in line with the talent needs of the business.


- Identifying training needs across all levels of the organisation through mapping of skills required for particular positions and performance goals.


- Curating and implementing training and development programs based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs as well as developing effective induction programs.


- Create a plan for an internal JetSetGo academy or similar concept as an investment in talent development within JetSetGo and a key competitive advantage in attracting and retaining talent.


- Advocate for and lead a strategy of continuous improvement at individual, team and departmental levels, supported by company-wide initiatives that enable all employees to access information, resources and training that delivers mutal benefit for company and employee.


Talent Retention:


- Play pro-active role in ensuring harmonious employee relations and the development of the companys internal culture to create and promote a positive working environment.


- Ensure awareness of all labour laws and oversee the strict adherence to the same, acting as an advisor and advocate to department heads and the companys leadership.


- Work closely with the General Manager Human Resources and the General Counsel to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and laws at both Federal and local level to support employee wellbeing, safety and harmony across teams.


- Advise and assist operations management in the fulfilment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintenance of a safe working environment.


- Develop and implement a plan for regular employee communications to ensure an informed and motivated company workforce, working closely with the Marketing department and the PR & Communications Manager.


- Lead the development of a unique JetSetGo culture that celebrates employees and their successes, and moves the company towards a more people-centric culture in harmony with the brand values and vision of the company.


- Develop a strategy to elevate JetSetGo to a great place to work culture and reputation to enhance talent retention and attract new talent to our brand, organisation and unique culture.


Requirements:


- MBA in HR or a related degree from a premier institute.


- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar industry, out of which 2+ years experience is in a senior talent / people management role.


- Proven track record in leading a progressive talent acquisition and retention strategy with a proven impact on business performance and reputation.


- Preference for someone who is experienced in a high growth company and in implementing organisational change and culture development.

- High success rate in talent recruitment at all levels in an organisation


- Proven track record in increasing retention rates for employees at all levels


- Experience in recruiting, managing and retaining high-value, highly skilled employee groups at professional levels.

- Demonstrable success in achieving great place to work status in previous organisations.


- Excellent communication and presentation skills.


- Ability to influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.


Working Days: 6 Days (Alternative Saturdays off)
