Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and lead thorough audits of vendor facilities, evaluating compliance with Food Safety Quality, Sustainability, and regulatory standards.
- Use investigative techniques to quickly identify and report areas of risk and non-compliance.
- Develop, track, and report on organizational metrics to enhance audit efficiency and system performance.
- Accurately capture and input audit findings into the company's online reporting and data warehouse system.
- Communicate audit results and business risk assessments effectively with vendor and company senior management.
- Review and provide feedback on corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution of non-compliance issues.
- Monitor and report on industry trends and technological advancements to continually improve audit processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to the review and enhancement of company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with New Product Development (NPD) teams to streamline market entry, boost productivity, and increase operational flexibility.
- Foster strong business relationships to support compliance program execution, including technical expertise, coaching, and leadership development within the team.
- Lead routine product sampling and reporting to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Travel Requirements:
- Mandatory travel is required for this role to conduct audits and inspections.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Certifications & Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of Costco standards, FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Program), FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act), FSSC (Food Safety System Certification), BRC (British Retail Consortium), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
- Familiarity with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) and USFDA (U.
- Food and Drug Administration) regulations related to food products.
Industry Experience:
- Working knowledge in grain handling and processing, spices, frozen foods and vegetables, snacks, and culinary sauces.
Skills in Vendor and Lab Management:
- Experience with customer complaint handling, vendor audits, vendor management, lab operations, and inventory management
