As a Yoga Teacher at Antalya hotel , you are responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging yoga sessions that align with the hotel’s wellness philosophy and meet the needs of diverse guests. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Teaching Yoga Classes
Lead daily or scheduled yoga classes for guests, ensuring sessions are suitable for various experience levels (beginner to advanced).
Design and conduct classes in alignment with the hotel’s wellness objectives and guest preferences.
Ensure proper instruction on posture, alignment, breathing techniques, and mindfulness during each session.
2. Guest Engagement
Greet and welcome all guests to the yoga class, creating a friendly and calming atmosphere.
Offer modifications and variations for different levels of experience, injuries, or physical limitations.
Answer any questions guests may have before or after class regarding the practice, equipment, or general well-being.
3. Class Preparation
Arrive at least 15 minutes before each class to set up the yoga space (e.g., mats, blocks, straps) and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for participants.
Ensure that the yoga area is clean, well-maintained, and free of hazards before each class.
4. Safety and Health
Monitor guests’ physical comfort and safety during the class, providing adjustments or modifications as needed.
Stay informed about any specific health or injury concerns of guests that may affect their ability to practice safely.
Ensure the environment is conducive to relaxation and mindfulness (e.g., appropriate music, lighting, temperature).
5. Communication with Hotel Staff
Coordinate with the hotel’s wellness coordinator or spa manager for class schedules, updates, or any special requests.
Provide feedback on class attendance, guest experiences, and any improvements needed to enhance the yoga offerings.
Be flexible and available for last-minute changes or additional classes, when required.
6. Promote Wellness Programs
Encourage guests to participate in other hotel wellness offerings, such as spa services, fitness programs, or wellness retreats.
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the hotel team to ensure seamless integration of yoga sessions into the hotel’s wellness package.
7. Professionalism and Standards
Maintain a professional appearance, arriving in appropriate activewear, and displaying punctuality and reliability.
Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent, professional experience for guests.
Continuously improve your own knowledge of yoga techniques and industry trends to stay relevant in your teaching
