Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Room Service Delivery:

Deliver food, beverages, and other items to guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure food and beverage items are served in accordance with hotel standards and guest preferences.

Set up room service trays or tables as per the guest’s request and hotel protocols.

Guest Interaction:

Greet guests with a courteous and professional demeanor upon delivery.

Respond to any additional requests or inquiries from guests in a prompt and friendly manner.

Ensure guests' satisfaction by confirming they have everything they need and addressing any issues

Order Accuracy:

Verify guest orders and delivery instructions to ensure accuracy before dispatch.

Confirm and double-check any special requests, dietary preferences, or other specific requirements.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

Collect and remove trays, dishes, and utensils from guest rooms after meals.

Maintain cleanliness of room service equipment, such as trays, trolleys, and cutlery.

Ensure all room service areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Operational Support:

Assist in maintaining proper stock levels for room service items (menus, cutlery, glass

Communication:

Maintain open communication with the Room Service Supervisor and other team members.

Report guest feedback, complaints, or any issues to management for resolution.

Accurately relay guest orders and any changes to the kitchen and other departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in a food & beverage or room service role is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including special dietary requirements.

Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety practices.

Must be physically capable of carrying trays and delivering orders to guest rooms.
