General Manager - Marketing

We are looking for a results-oriented General Manager Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in environmental and mining consultancy services, as well as transportation and mining operations. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive business growth, expand our market presence, and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote consultancy and transportation services.
• Identify target markets and customer segments, ensuring tailored approaches for each.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
2. Business Development:
• Generate leads and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients in the environmental and mining sectors.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
3. Brand Development:
• Strengthen the company's brand presence in the environmental and mining consultancy sectors.
• Develop marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, and digital content.
• Manage the company’s online presence, including the website and social media platforms.
4. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Understand client needs and ensure service offerings align with their expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for major clients to address queries or concerns.
5. Team Leadership and Coordination:
• Recruit, train, and lead a marketing team to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and consultancy teams to align marketing strategies with company objectives.
• Ensure efficient communication and coordination between departments.
6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Set marketing performance metrics and analyze results regularly.
• Prepare detailed reports on marketing activities, ROI, and market feedback.
• Adjust strategies based on data insights and changing market dynamics.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA in Marketing is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in environmental, mining, or transportation sectors is an advantage.
