Job Description

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements
Primary Responsibilities
- Own, design new products for warehouse automation.
- Execution of HW NPI projects, Component engineering, Product development.
- Work with NPI Design Team, 3D modeling in solid works, create detailed drawing as per standards.
- Creating Change orders, ERP BOM changes, BOM uploads, Routing, Excel Uploads and automation.
- Implementing the ECRO, Redline Markups with all the necessary approvals.
- Co-ordination with cross functional teams & Follow-up with Project Leads, Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers on day to day project activities.
- Responsible and Accountable for Quality of Drawings
- Goodknowledge of Mechanical Engineering and exposure to mechanical and electricalparts modeling and detailing.
- Mechanical Engineer,
- Hands on Design and NPI experience.
- Good understanding of Different Manufacturing Processes like Injection Molding, Machining, Casting, sheet metal, joining methodologies (crimpling, welding, brazing, soldering), potting.
- Good working Knowledge of DFSS terminologies.
- Hands on experience in Solidworks PDM, Teamcenter PLM,
- Good working Knowledge expertise in Solidworks, Teamcenter PLM, Parts management, BOM, EBOM, MBOM, Workflows and troubleshooting essential.
- Hands on Experience in Oracle, ERP process
- Ability to understand design intent, mechanical and Electrical part design and applications,
- Good knowledge and Hands on experience in application of GD&T,
- Good knowledge of Drafting Standards, ASME 14 series, DIN, BSS, ISO.
- Engineering change Request, Engineering change order and implementation,
- BOMstructure, Part attribute, Make Vs Buy etc.
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Industrial design talent
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Anopen, honest and team oriented personality
- Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
- Creativity
- Some experience developing products or sustaining existing products
- Experience in a highly regulated and safety critical domain
- Mechanical Engineering degree
