Job Description:
The candidate will be completely responsible fortest activity carried out by Bangalore team for Intelligent Life Care teamworking with different partner location as well as other functional teams inthe organization on a case-to-case basis. He/She should possess good knowledgeon Test methodologies, Test processes, defect tracking and test management tools andwill be responsible for identifying the competency development, resourceplanning, Resolving technical Risk and making sure on quality of deliverables.Excellent focus on test execution, Productivity and should ensureresponsiveness to partners, customers, team and management. Must be aninnovative and integrative thinker quick to visualize solutions and generateideas. Should be responsible for driving the integrated System test strategyfor Intelligent Life Care (Controllers & Field Instrumentation).
Key Responsibilities:
- Test focal for Intelligent Life Care systems in Bangalore
- Should have good knowledge on Test processes, defect tracking and test tools.
- Test Planning, Projecting Technical risks/mitigation and Reporting of test status to all stakeholders.
- Identify and drive productivity initiatives like test automation and simulation etc..
- On time delivery of tested products to meet agreed quality criteria.
- Ensure deployment and use case scenarios of the product are captured in requirement and they flow down till Test Plan and Test Cases.
- Responsible for carrying out different kinds of testing like Functional, Installation, Compatibility, Usability, Database, Migration, PCT (Performance, Capacity and Topology).
- Should be responsible for defining, review of the Project and Ilities requirement and ability to suggest product enhancement.
- Should mentor other member of the team on technicalaspects.
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:
TechnicalSkills:
- Experience in engineering, installing and commissioning of building Management systems
- Experience in integration of BMS systems (PLC/DCS).
- Experience in System/Product Testing (Application, Different System Integration, Compatibility, Installation, Migration, Database etc).
- Knowledge on Industrial/Building Controls protocols (BACnet, Lon, HART, Field bus, Modbus etc.) are preferred.
- Knowledge on VDE 0834 standards are preferred.
- Knowledge on VM infrastructure usage, Hyper-V, Web Server and test automation.
- Candidate with knowledge on APIs and Front end/Backend testing are preferred.
- Knowledge of Control system components.
- Candidate with knowledge of supervising control system wiring in site are preferred.
- Networking basics (LAN/WAN networks installation and configuration, DNS, DHCP concepts) and
- Troubleshooting/analytical skills
- Test Certification- ISTQB or equivalent will be added advantage
- Knowledge in UL1069 is added advantage.
Experience/Education Required/Sought:
- Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communication/Electronics and Electrical/Computer Science from Reputed institutes. M. Tech may also apply
