SQL Database Administrator (6-8 yrs)

Exp : 6 to 9 years

Job Description :

- The ideal candidate should have performed a role of strong Core DBA experience in large sized projects at least for 6 yrs.

- Should be very good in performance tuning and optimization.

- 6-9 years of strong Core DBA experience

- Should possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing and resolving database issues efficiently.

- Should be able to develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity.

- Should be aware of RAC and clustering

- Strong analytical skills for problem resolution, database and SQL performance tuning.

- Experience with Oracle 10/11/12/18/19.

- Working knowledge of DB Console and/or Grid Control preferred.

- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and various Windows OS preferred

- Should be able to manage vulnerabilities from the DBA aspect.

- Should possess a combination of technical expertise, analytical abilities, and communication skills to effectively manage and optimize Oracle database environments.

Role & responsibilities :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 6-9 years of professional experience.

- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.

- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate internally and with our customers.

- Must possess excellent communication skills for team projects and client communication.

- Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning SQL queries, analyzing execution plans, and adjusting database configuration parameters.

- Read and analyze AWR reports and suggest optimizations.

- Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in the event of system failures or disasters.

- Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, role-based privileges, and encryption.

- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and data corruption.
