Export/Import Documentation, EDI filing Expert & Customs Paper Filing

Role & responsibilities

• This is a full-time on-site role for Export/Import documentation and EDI Specialist.
• Preparation of checklists for Export/import Shipments.
• As an Export/Import document Specialist, you will be responsible for managing below tasks.
• Filing of Shipping Bill and Bill of Entry.
• Import Duty calculation with respect to particular HS code/Item.
• Should have in-depth knowledge of H.S. codes and items listed by Indian customs.
• ​Upload relevant documents on e-Sanchit.
• ​Creation of TC and Carting/Gatepass of shipments.
• Coordination with port staff for any document support.
• Monitoring of shipments & Preparation of DSR to all customers.
• Coordination with Airlines for issuance of AWB

Preferred candidate profile

• A graduate person with an experience of at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of paper filing on softwares like Live Impex & Logisys.
• Have good knowledge of import/export documentation and EDI paper filing
• ​Proper understanding of Invoice, packing list, HAWB, MAWB and shipment flow
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software is a needed
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
