We are looking to hire a dedicated Bid Manager in the APAC Bids & Pitches team to manage, strategize and execute requests for proposals, pitch presentations, and other pitch and bid-related requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with key stakeholders, including sales/ BD professionals and service line leads. Responsible for undertaking the entire bidding process, including the writing custom bid content and creating marketing materials that showcase our proposed solution/ offering and brand.
2. Contribute to the development of customized pursuit strategies for key clients.
3. Create and draft custom RFI/RFP responses and presentations. Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies. Edit and polish existing content to adhere to the overall theme of the document.
4. Partner with Graphic Designers to effectively showcase content for RFPs, presentations and other pursuit-related materials.
5. Identify client needs and recommend approaches to address gaps in proposed solutions.
6. Partner with appropriate Subject Matter Experts as needed to review existing content/generate new content as required.
7. Maintain all material in an online repository, including RFP response content and templates. Act as a single source of truth. Work with knowledge managers across regions to update and maintain the latest corporate information, capability presentations, maps, CVs, headshots, etc.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a bids role for a professional services company. Commercial real estate preferred.
- Experience in marketing and communications, copywriting, marketing strategy, new business development.
- Strong project management, organisational, and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organisation at all levels and functions while collaborating effectively.
- Proven ability to use influence to drive results, independently or as part of a team with limited direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop an deliver presentations that synthesize complex problems and recommended solutions.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint etc.). Experience working in PowerPoint is essential.
- Positive, proactive individual who takes initiative and follows through on projects/responsibilities.
- Quick learner and highly motivated self-starter. An interest in the sector would be preferable, coupled with a willingness to keep up to date with industry trends, regulations and legislation.
- Ability to work to brand guidelines and ensure content reflects Savills' recent pivot to a purpose led brand.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across different geographies and levels of seniority.
- Strong sense of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- APMP Foundation certification preferred.
- Attention to detail.
