Data Analyst
About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Media Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.
As a Digital Media Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting large volumes of digital media data to uncover actionable insights.
You will work closely with marketing, advertising, and product teams to optimize digital media campaigns and strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Collection and Integration :
- Collect data from various sources, including social media platforms, ad networks, website analytics, and CRM systems.
- Cleanse and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse or data lake.
Data Analysis and Insights :
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Utilize statistical techniques, data mining, and machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
Data Visualization and Reporting :
- Create compelling data visualizations (dashboards, reports) to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Develop automated reporting processes to streamline data analysis and reporting.
- Present findings and recommendations to marketing, advertising, and product teams.
A/B Testing and Experimentation :
- Design and execute A/B tests to optimize digital media campaigns.
- Analyse test results to identify winning strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
Predictive Analytics :
- Build predictive models to forecast future trends and customer behaviour.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to identify potential customers and optimize targeting strategies.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital media analytics.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R).
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience with digital marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Understanding of digital media metrics and KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling.
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
