Manager - Account Payable - Mall management Firm (4-5 yrs)

Job Summary:

- One of India's leading Mall management companies is keen to hire for the role of Accounts Payable Manager for its Finance and Accounts Department.

- This role is primarily an Accounts Payable role involving managing financial processes including purchase order approvals, tax invoice verification, journal entry approvals, weekly and monthly reporting, tax reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and MSME regulations.

Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore

Responsibilities:

Regular:

- Approve Purchase Orders by reviewing quotations and the comparative matrix, ensuring all necessary approvals as per the Delegation of Authority (DOA).

- Approve Tax Invoices by verifying bills and ensuring work completion certifications from the respective Heads of Departments (HODs).

- Verify Open Purchase Orders on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Verify and Approve Journal Entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Weekly MIS:

- Prepare Trade Payables Report with aging analysis to track outstanding liabilities.

- Review Open Advances to ensure timely resolution and proper allocation

Month End:

- Prepare Trade Payables Report distinguishing MSME vs non-MSME.

- TDS Reconciliation & Filing for quarterly returns.

- GST Input Reconciliation and filing of monthly GST returns.

- MSME Filing (Half-Yearly).

- Prepare Audit Schedules for financial audits.

Other:

- General accounting principles, journal entries, and financial reconciliation.

- GST knowledge: input/output tax calculations, monthly returns, and GST reconciliation.

- TDS: rates, reconciliation, and quarterly filing.

- MSME compliance and filing

Requirements:

- Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.

- Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems.

- Understanding of tax laws, MSME regulations, and other compliance requirements

- Knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and audit preparation.

- Strong technical accounting skills (general accounting, GST, TDS, MSME).

- Good team player and mature, able to deal with people at all levels.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
