About The Role:

The Senior Manager - Accounts Payable will oversee and manage the end-to-end procurement process, accounts payable, and cost control operations. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, effective cost management, and optimization of procurement activities. The Lead will work cross-functionally to drive cost efficiency, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies.

What You'll Do :

- Ensure the procurement process is implemented based on the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain consistency and accountability.

- Oversee the entire procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and approval of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.

- Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and financial reporting.

- Oversee the verification and processing of invoices in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments through electronic transfers, check disbursements, and other payment methods.

- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers, addressing discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.

- Prepare and present accounts payable reports, including aging analysis, and spending trends and forecast for management.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency of accounts payable operations.

- Establish and implement a cost control framework to monitor and manage expenses across procurement and accounts payable operations.

- Analyze cost variances between actual and budgeted expenditures, proposing corrective actions to optimize financial performance.

- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

- Ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting, adhering to internal financial controls and accounting standards.

What You'll Have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or finance, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

- Strong understanding of procurement, accounts payable, and cost control processes, along with best practices in these areas.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Experience with ERP systems.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
