Job Description
- Responsible for stores operations (receipt, storage & distribution of goods) in the plant.
- Responsible for inbound and outbound of materials.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy at stores.
- Handling material optimization projects plant level for better material utilization.
- Compliance to QMS, EMS & OHSAS requirements.
- Responsible for effective utilization of man, machine resources within the department.
- Following standard operating procedures as per ISO standard.
- Reporting Accidents & incidents to HOD / safety department.
- Responsible for deriving root causes and implement action towards reducing material stock variance.
- Maintaining storage spares & consumables bins wise, dyes & chemicals storage in floor with department wise (dyeing, finishing, bleaching, printing) hazardous & non-hazardous practices & issues in FIFO wise.
- On time unloading of Materials (spares, dyes& Chemicals), to control halting charges
