Supplier Quality Expert

We are looking for dynamic candidates ready to join our team in at Hilti Manufactuing India.

Position : Supplier Quality Expert

Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Plastic or Mechanical

Experience : 3 to 8 years of experience in quality assurance preferred in power tool industry.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute supplier pre-evaluation, evaluation, and process audits.
• Raise NCR to supplier and effectively closure of the same through 8D approach.
• Develop cross functional team members for Junior and Senior auditors and maintain records.
• Train cross functional team members for handling of audit management software
• Engagement in new supplier development and supplier process change management project.
• Develop yourself and team members in a management drive.
• Participate in technical review at early stage in design for quality or design for manufacturing.
• Align measurement system or concept on Hilti and supplier site.
• Prepare MIS report based on management requirement
• Experienced at least in the two manufacturing processes from: Plastic injection moulding, gear manufacturing, die casting, hot/cold forging, heat treatment, sintering and assembly.
• Systematic problem solving
• Proven track record of establish, implement, and maintain Quality Management System
• Experienced with process, workplace, supplier, and ISO audits.
• Experienced with management information system.
• Experienced with 5s, Kaizen, 7 waste, Pokayoke, Cost of quality, Lean six-sigma.
• MS Excel, MS word and PowerPoint

Preferred candidate profile

• Demonstrated proficiency of new supplier development and resource management
• Able to work with internal and external interested parties at interpersonal level, effective leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent self-initiation, planning, implementation, documentation, and communication skill
• Certified lead auditor of ISO 9001:2015
• Trained FMEA practitioner
