Quantity Surveyor - MEP (Pre / Post contract)

Role & responsibilities

• Pre & Post Contract Experience is required.
• Checking /verification and processing the bills, claims of contractor for all works as per BOQ/tender Specification/conditions.
• Prepare monthly cost report, Manage bonds, insurances and guarantee logs.
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedule from good for construction drawings.
• Prepare and check analysis of rates of extra items.
• Review architectural plans / structural drawings and prepare quantity needs.
• Vendors Management and maintain documentation of project.
• Review and accept the bills submitted by the contractors as per the check list and to be rejected if it is not in line with check list.
• Cost Control, Budgeting, Cost Plan and Tendering, Pre-tender estimate, Negotiations
• Floating tenders to Technically and Commercially competent parties, preparation of comparative statement, and evaluation of strengths and weaknesses of various parties for the finalization of sub-contracts.
• Procurement Strategy, Billing, BOQ, Planning
• Preparation of sub-contract agreements and award of sub-contracts to the most suitable, client approved sub-contractor.
• Preparation of payment recommendation, variations, cost report, cash flow, tracker, client billing etc.
• Understand and adopt the company's procedures, documentation and relevant standard codes related to measurements and pricing, valuation, and variation check lists.
• Development of Project Budget, BOQ from drawings and tenders, liaising with Clients.
• Good Interpersonal Skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Overall cost consulting experience/ exposure is preferred.
