Associate Principal - Water Supply Projects (15-30 yrs)

Job Summary

The Associate Principal leads the design teams during design delivery and manages design activities of Water Supply projects . He is the main counterpart of Project Managers and a key support in client interactions. He works closely with Project Managers for the review and validation of design deliverables and monitors the checking and reviews of all design phases and ensures the proper implementation of all related adjustments and revisions. The jobholder conducts design value engineering in coordination with the Project Manager and design teams. He supports the Project Manager with budget, schedule, client, technical and quality management activities on projects. He shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the water supply design market and represent the firm in the professional engineering and water supply infrastructure community, as needed.

Skills

- In-depth knowledge of water supply design preferable have middle east experience

- Understanding of international engineering standards and codes

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Specific Experience

- Strong experience in large and complex water supply design projects

- Advanced knowledge of WaterGems software.

- Possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to manage time and resources effectively.

- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Review of design performed by the junior staff

- Advanced experience in preparing design technical reports and tender documents including design drawings, specifications, and BoQ.

- An ability to formulate and solve advanced problems related to water supply issues
