Liasioning Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:*

• Cultivate and maintain strong, effective relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Represent the company at government events, functions, and meetings, acting as a key point of contact between the organization and authorities.
• Act as the liaison with government regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals, licenses, and permits in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks, and maintain an up-to-date database of requirements for factory operations.
• Safeguard the companys interests during legal matters. Accompany the company lawyer for legal proceedings.
• Secure all necessary licenses, permissions, clearances, yearly renewals and certificates from government and statutory authorities, including local bodies, municipalities, fire services, and electricity boards.
• Manage and resolve issues related to factory operations, workers, and property, ensuring compliance with regulations, while supporting the negotiation and drafting of agreements to meet legal requirements.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends, regulations, and compliance updates.
• Prepare maintain and submit periodic reports on the status of statutory and regulatory compliance to senior management. Communicate progress regularly to senior management.

*Desired Candidate Profile:*

• 6-8 years of experience in government liaisoning, legal and regulatory affairs.
• Deep understanding of government relations, legal compliances, consultant coordination, and public relations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with government officials and stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across various levels of the organization.
