Job Description
Also, ensuring the solution offered, provides the most efficient and has optimized ROI (Total cost of ownership) for manufacturing and warehouse Intralogistics operations. Understanding customers industries respected operations, priorities, business data, design philosophy, with an ability to develop innovative solutions, and a decent understanding of the industrial automation technology.
Role Expectations:
- To apply logical understanding on mapping the right product fit for the solution to the problem statement of customer, considering the existing constraints related to space, manpower, complexity of operations etc.
- To craft solutions using a 3D or a 2D CAD layout and making it in a presentable and understandable form
- To evaluate Time-motion-study for manpower versus automation.
- To chart process flow of before and after automation situation for customer to call out the modifications in operations and their benefits.
- To advise customer and the Hi-Tech sales and solution team about the benefits, and core value proposition coming out of the solution.
- To provide face-to-face consultation to the customer on pre-readiness, SOPs, scope clarity.
- To get product, technical & project team sign off on the solution.
- To gradually keep standardizing the solutions for each and every use case to finally create respective collaterals, fast-pacing direct and indirect sales
Reporting structure:
- Role will report into NPD Head
Interactions:
- Internal Stakeholders: Sales & Solutioning team
- External Stakeholders: Customers/Clients
II. PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS
Profile: Ideally ~
- Bachelors in Engineering is a must
- 3+ years of overall experience- in technical pre-sales and solutions in Industrial Automation/Material handling systems/ASRS systems/AGVs etc
- Experience in developing 2-D/3-D layouts using AutoCAD, Inventor etc.
