Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager Channel Sales to expand and strengthen our dealer and distributor network in the Steel & Pipe industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing channel partners, driving sales growth, and executing regional sales strategies. (Location - Punjab/Himanchal / J&K, Eastern & Central UP.


Role & responsibilities

1. Dealer & Distributor Network Expansion

  • Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers, distributors, and stockists in the assigned region.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing channel partners to ensure business growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential partners and unexplored territories.

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive primary and secondary sales through channel partners.
  • Ensure timely order placement, stock replenishment, and product availability.
  • Monitor and achieve sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.

3. Channel Partner Management

  • Develop and implement incentive programs to boost channel partner performance.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, sales training, and product knowledge sessions for dealers.
  • Address partner grievances and provide necessary support to ensure long-term relationships.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Gather insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze pricing strategies, demand-supply dynamics, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide inputs for sales forecasting and business planning.

5. Promotional & Marketing Support

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to execute branding, promotional, and advertising campaigns.
  • Assist dealers in organizing customer meets, product demonstrations, and trade fairs.
  • Ensure proper visibility of products at dealer outlets through branding and POS materials.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Mandatory 5+ years of experience in Channel Sales in the Steel & Pipe industry (candidates from other industries will not be considered).
  • Strong experience in managing dealer and distributor networks.
  • Proven ability to drive primary & secondary sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Looking BDM-Candidates for various location - Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Eastern & Central UP.
