Assistant Purchase Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage raw material procurement, import purchase, and inventory control processes to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, improve quality, and reduce costs.
  
• Plan and execute purchase orders for raw materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize global logistics and supply chain operations.
  
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction through effective material management.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in purchasing or related field (raw material procurement, import purchase).
  
• Strong knowledge of Inco terms, Global Procurement, Purchase Vendor Development, Cost Reduction strategies.
  
• Excellent negotiation skills with ability to build strong vendor relationships.
  
• Proficiency in Material Planning, Material Management systems.
