Job Description: 

  1. Aligning Business Strategy with Company Vision:
  • Form and develop strategies and roadmaps and ensure that they are in line with the corporate strategy.
  • Demonstrating a deep technical and strategic understanding of the medical Services and Operations. 
  • Establish medical protocols.
  • Fully understand the internal processes of all departments
  1. Human Resource Management:
  • Recruitment & Life Cycle Management of all clinical & non clinical manpower including Consultants, Resident Doctors, Nursing & Paramedical staff
    • Strategic Planning and Management 
    • Recruitment & Terms of Engagement Finalisation 
    • Lifecycle Management - Engagement and Responsibilities Compliance, Appraisal and Performance Reviews 
    • Terms of Engagement finalization together with Management  in line with organisation policy as agreed by the advisory board. 
  1. Coordination:
  • Work directly with providers to educate them on our care process and determine what can be done to improve overall care quality
  • Act as the medical expert in dealings with vendors and departments that work within the organization
  • Liaising with medical and non-medical departments and developing cooperation between physicians, paramedics, nurses, and medical departments.
  • Enhancing relationships with vendors.
  1. Clinical Care & Quality Control:
  • In-Patient Cycle Monitoring and Compliance with quality parameters at each stage of the workflow
  • Patient and Bed-Side Care Monitoring 
  • Surgical & Interventional Care 
  • Clinical Support Service Delivery monitoring and compliance with quality parameters
  • Quality Control Audits
  • Out-Patient Care Cycle monitoring and compliance monitoring at each stage of the workflow
  • Statutory Compliance Monitoring 
  • Primary Responsibility for industry specific accreditation I.e. NABH, NABL 
  • All other compliance related responsibilities
  1. Administrative  Service Delivery Management
  • Purchase & Store ( Supply & Value Chain Management ) 
  • Maintenance & Biomedical ( Facility & Infrastructure Management ) 
  • Billing and Corporate Relations Management
  • Customer Experience Management
  • Participate in various administrative, clinical staff meetings.
  • Stay up to date on medical trends
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
  • Manage the number of activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services such as cost management, utilization review, quality assurance, and medical protocol development.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information related to participants, medical staff and employees.
  • Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with fellow employees, supervisors.
  • Ensuring staff and facility's compliance with regulations and codes

Requirement & Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Medical Director or similar role
  • A license and certification to practice medicine
  • Twenty or more years experience in hospital administration
  • Superb judgment, problem-solving and cognitive skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Works calmly in a fast-paced healthcare facility.  
  • Manages medical staff and has strong leadership skills.
  • Implements actionable plans to hit goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with coworkers and has strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communicates effectively and has strong public speaking skills.
  • Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Develops strong relationships with patients and their families and has a stellar bedside manner.
  • Qualification Required:  Doctor with an Administrative Background
  • Administrative structure: 

The Medical Director will be expected to work with a non clinical 

hospital administrator who will look after the non clinical administrative areas. The Medical Director is expected to provide supervisory role in this regard in addition to the primary responsibilities assigned to him as described above. 

  • Experience Required: 
    • Working in good corporate setting
    • Candidates with armed forces background will be given preference.
  • Consolidated Annual Salary (₹): 45-50L
