Market Operations Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and experienced Market Operations Head to join our team. The role involves managing daily operations, including demand-supply planning, 3PL management, service deliveries, and customer excellence initiatives. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, efficiency enhancements, and logistics cost optimization.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of 10 full-time employees (FTE) and 25 indirect team members, driving country-level S&OP meetings, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demands. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and collaboration across diverse teams globally. Exposure to planning tools and processes is preferred.

The role will involve working closely with country, regional, and global stakeholders, leveraging analytics tools such as Power BI and ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, production, and demand planning, to understand supply chain processes and challenges.
• Conduct root cause analyses to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions.
• Present data-driven action plans and recommendations to regional supply chain leadership, ensuring alignment on improvement initiatives.
• Co-lead the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, facilitating effective decision-making and alignment across sales, marketing, and supply chain functions.
• Monitor the implementation of approved action plans, track progress, and assess the effectiveness of process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and compliance with Henkel's internal and external SC policies.
• Analyze and track customer service metrics, 3PL logistics data, inventory levels, demand forecasts, transportation costs, and warehousing expenses to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Lead, inspire, and develop the supply chain team, maintaining best business practices and operational strategies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience in planning, logistics, and customer service within the FMCG/Personal Care industry.
• A supply chain-related education background (engineering + MBA preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Inspiring leadership skills, with experience in managing a multi-generational workforce and building large teams in FMCG environments.
