Job Description
About this Position
As a Sales Engineer specializing in automotive adhesives, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the automotive Industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and customer support, to ensure the successful introduction and implementation of Henkel adhesive solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the automotive industry.
What you ll do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the set of customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at automotive OEMs and tier suppliers.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals to clients, showcasing the value of our adhesive solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including planning, manufacturing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Follow up with customer Teams & internal Finance to ensure payment collection on time.
- Nurture existing client relationships and act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues.
