Quality Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance audits to ensure quality assurance testers meet internal and external requirements/standards.
• Manage the CG Operation team and oversee all projects undertaken by the CG team.
• Define QA auditing policies, vision and objectives, training protocols.
• Plan, Evaluate and improve existing QA audit tools and processes.
• Create, measure, and report key metrics for the performance of the QA Department.
• and memorialize results (including failures and deviations)
• Prepare to review audit reports, perform result analysis and provide improvement suggestion.
• Follow up international inspection standards and technology.
• Recommend changes to improve processes and strengthen compliance controls.
• Maintain audit statistics and documentation for review and tracking purposes
• Prepare and present audit reports to the Compliance Officer and work with leadership to develop and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Ability to engage a team of QC engineers & Inspectors.
• Ability to help technical support in the quotation .
• Provide technical support to business development of audit & compliance.
• Evaluate auditors performance, and conduct performance management.
• Maintain open communication with all internal interfaces.
• Create standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectation.
• Train and manage a team of quality control supervisors.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant experience of about 8 years
• Experience in performing 3rd party audits (factory/supplier, etc.).
• Travel to various locations for audits (within the entire India region).
• Ability to carry on responsibility well.
• Should possess good interactive and communication skills.
• Possess managerial qualities.
• Ability to perform individually and with the team.
• Self-confident and positive approach.
• MS Office, have advanced computer skills, and work with databases.
• Ensure timely reporting.
• Sound independent judgment.
• Ensure data security.
