The Quality Assurance/Quality Control is responsible for developing and implementing quality control and assurance procedures to ensure that construction projects comply with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations. The role involves monitoring the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction processes to ensure the highest level of quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

The specific requirements for a QA/QC role at Construction Managers would focus on ensuring quality management in their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement QA/QC Procedures:

• Create and enforce project-specific QA/QC plans in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Establish quality benchmarks and testing procedures for materials and construction activities.
  
  Inspection and Testing:
• Perform regular inspections of construction work, including foundations, structures, and finishes, ensuring they meet the required quality standards.
• Oversee the testing of materials such as concrete, steel, and soil to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Witness and approve third-party testing, as required.
  
  Documentation:
• Maintain accurate documentation of all QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and submit them to the project manager.
  
  Monitor Construction Processes:
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality standards are maintained across all project stages.
• Attend regular meetings to discuss issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
