Job Description
The Physician must be able to fulfill the following requirements:
- Exclusively partner with Health Pals to provide treatment bundles for your patients
- Work with our existing Physicians and our Chief Health Officer, Felicia Eddings, Pharm.D., to create Protocols and Collaborative Practice agreements with Pharmacists
- Consult with Pharmacists regarding clinical cases, patient treatment, and value-based care
- Review Pharmacist chart notes
- Analyzes and investigates concerns using our Quality Management System
- Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
- Provides health education and coaches Pharmacists to assist them in best decision making for your patient population (e.g. Dry Eye or Contact Lens patients)
- Exhibit excellent clinical skills and judgement
- Display efficient written and verbal communication skills
- Be a great team player
- Be capable of utilizing computers and patient databases for clinical management purposes
- Be proficient in the following types of Software:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Zoom
- Cisco Webex
- Google Meet
