Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Receiving the patient from the ward.
- Check all documents including pre op checklist and consent
- To maintain a clean and sterile OT by following Unidirectional.
- To check equipments and take necessary action.
- To see that the trolleys are set for each procedure with enough and correct instruments, sutures, linen etc.
- To assist the surgeon in the procedure.
- To be the nurse advocate of the patient.
- To take over and hand over the patient to the floors/ICU.
- To count the instruments and swab before closing the operated part.

Patients and some senior consultants are very good and most importantly lower staff are way better thn higher staff means security people attendents canteen people this people know how to respect each other and talk.
Worst thing is management here the upper hand will always choose their favourite person even if they did terrible mistakes which can not be acceptable in hospital where as if u ever object things which are professional nt right thn they will make sure u cant work they will mentally torture u till u resign first of all thet will make..Read More
