We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and management of goods and services.
You will play a key role in our growth by optimising costs, securing favourable terms with vendors, and driving sales through effective category management .
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage sourcing strategies for B2B customers, including current core categories and new product/category introductions like basic office supplies and renewable products, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery throughout India.
Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing, quotations, and delivery terms
Assist with RFQs/RFPs for special procurement projects
Manage and supervise the pricing process to prepare profitable quotes and onboard new customers
Collaborate with Sales team to handle vendor discrepancies
Analyse data to identify low-margin products and customers, and develop action plans for improvement
Lead the CGP (Corporate Gifting Promotion) category, driving sales and profitability through strategic planning and data-driven insights
Develop strong commercial acumen to understand customer needs andreferences
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality, adherence to forecasts, and market intelligence
Oversee pricing, product planning, merchandise mix, quality parameters, and markdown management for assigned categories
Partner with Marketing to design category-specific promotions and drive website traffic
Lead import procurement for local and foreign materials, ensuring timely execution of purchase orders and compliance with customs regulations
Generate MIS reports for top management and manage warehouse inventory levels
Requirements
Bachelors/ Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in B2B and e-commerce environments
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Proven ability to develop and implement cost-saving procurement strategies
Experience with procurement softwares is a plus
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
