Job Location - Hubli, Karnataka.
CTC- Upto 32 LPA Max.
Exp- 17 -24 years
NP - Immediate to 45 days max.
- We are looking for someone whocan lead and develop supply chain planning, control processes, domestic and global sourcing of capital equipment's, direct/ indirect materials procurement, subcontracting, logistics (both internal and external) and warehouse
- Educational Background - Bachelor's degree in engineering with masters in business administration or supply chain management.
- Master's degree from leading business schools in INDIA or Abroad is an added advantage
Skill Sets:
- Experience / knowledge of SEZ, EOU and MOOWR programs.
- Working knowledge of ERP applications. knowledge of SAP S4 HANA.
- Experience in high volume production environment; especially in EMS, Precision automotive industries with special (treatment) processes.
- Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong team player
Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Develop and continuously improve supply chain processes and practices in accordance with changing policies, standards, regulations, laws in a way that best achieves the organization's objectives.
- Supplier performance management to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements based on future organizational needs.
- Analyze and design optimized IT solutions across the supply chain to facilitate ease of operations with right control measures.
- Develop strategic/ long term alliance with partners/ suppliers towards Just in time (JIT) supplies of both direct/ in-direct materials to respective product lines through Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
- Plan, develop product eco system requirements within (or closer to) the zone to have quick turnaround on support and services.
Tactical:
- Discover and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.
- Develop effective negotiation strategies through effective training and guidance to team members.
- Material planning with targeted inventory turnover and ensuring minimum negative customer (internal/ external) impacts due to material delays or shortage.
- Develop and implement forward thinking procurement plans to both optimize spending and minimize risk and generate savings.
- Maximize inventory accuracy (quality and value) with controls and practices are established to meet customer expectations and business goals.
- To achieve the highest standards in delivery and quality of product and services (both locally and globally sourced, supplied materials).
- Budget planning and control through policy deployment.
- Creation of an effective preferred supplier program and instillation of organizational discipline on onboarding new vendors.
- Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective purchasing process for the business.
- Recruit and nurture additional purchasing talent
- Assess staff competencies; Develop and retain high performing staff.
- Experience with government policy and procedures.
