Position: Manager - Business Development - Oil & Gas
Job Location: Anywhere in India
CTC: Up to 35 LPA
- Must have experience in downstream .
- No upstream exp required, only mid stream and downstream experience is required.
- The candidate should be smart, aggressive and able to handle the business independently, lead generator, hunter.
- The candidate should have mandatorily worked on EPC/LSTK project sales, not product sales.
- The candidates should have hands on experience in Bidding and Tenders.
- Industry Preference: oil & gas, Petrochemicals, chemical, Fertilizers
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create a strong pipeline and order book with projects spanning across oil refineries, gas terminals , petrochemical complexes, specialty chemicals facilities, fertilizer units in India, aligning with the organization's order booking plan.
- Responsible for achieving key targets (e.g volume, price, and mix) of sales vertical.
- Coordinate effectively with Industry veterans and consultants in creating a strong sales network.
- Research relevant organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Increase the wallet share of existing customers while building new customer's base.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as operations team in executing the projects smoothly.
- Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments for the strategy and plans accordingly to meet changing market and competitive landscapes.
Key Requirement:
- 9+ years of Sales/BD experience in Oil and Gas sector, handling clients across manufacturing industries.
- Ability to secure projects both in short term (without tendering such as back to back projects) and in long term (tendering through direct participation or JV's).
- Having great communication, negotiation and convincing skills and ability to hustle.
- Experience to manage and coordinate with cross functional team such as tendering, estimations, and operations ensuring smooth flow of projects.
- Experience in connecting potential execution partners in the above mentioned sectors and creating JVs with them.
- Ability to Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements and prices across segments.
- Experience in bagging large size EPC/LSTK / manufacturing project.
